Had a fun time yesterday photographing Emily at Clumber Park, Nottinghamshire, with photographer friends Crash Taylor and Will Pateman. We were blessed with the weather - coats off, cameras at the ready and we got down to creating images.

Check this out. My brother Harry found this photograph of myself and my sister, Jill, amongst the archives. I must have been about 2 or 3 years old. Photography started at a very early age.  Just love this image.

I was delighted when I got a call from our local Breeze Magazine  to ask me if they could use an image of mine to be displayed on their front cover. Of course, I said ‘yes’.
Elaina Evans from Baroque joined forces with commercial retail expert Justine Cook to expand the business by opening a ready to wear designer bridal gown boutique, The Dressing Room. They approached me to take documentary photographs of the opening. It was a fantastic afternoon with the Mayor of Erewash attending as well as a great number of brides to be. With the opening there was a Great Bridal Giveaway which involved a bride winning a Charlotte Balbier designer wedding dress. The image chosen for the front cover was a capture of the split second emotion that came from the lucky winning bride, Olivia Newton.

These images were taken a month ago when we returned from Australia. A total difference in temperature. We are very lucky to live close to a nature reserve where there is always ample opportunity to take photographs. These images were taken at Attenborough Nature Reserve in Nottingham. I like to dabble in various types of photography but my main love is wedding photography. This Saturday will be my first wedding of the year.  I have just obtained the Canon 5D MarkII and I can’t wait to use it.
