Heading back from a weekend away in the Cotswolds we came across these kite surfers on a ridge overlooking the Severn Estuary. They were fabulous doing acrobatics in the air. Couldn’t resist taking photographs. Brilliant sky in the background which was crying out for silhouettes.

Spent this weekend camping in Lincolnshire with Brian and his brother and wife. As always the weather is the most important thing. We had a scorcher. Fantastic sunshine on Saturday enabled us to spend a very enjoyable and fun day at the Heckington Show. Everything seemed to be happening. Dog shows, animal trophy awards, people showing off their machines, races of different sorts, a fly past by a Lancaster bomber (not official) and eventually a concert with spectacular fireworks. As usual I took it upon myself to practise my photography skills so here are some of my favourites of the day.

This cute little girl was unsure about the camera at first so I took a succession of shots whilst pulling faces from behind the camera with hope to get a smile from her. It worked. I thought it would be a good idea to merge them together as one image so you could see the different expressions. I usually do this at a portrait shoot but set out the images separately. A little bit of tweaking in photoshop et voila!
