Thought I would do this in one big swoop: Sarah and Mark’s pre wedding shoot as well as their wedding on one post. The pre wedding shoot took place a few weeks before their wedding in Sarah’s home village of Sibthorpe, Nottinghamshire, in and around the church where they were to marry. In fact everything was to take place in Sibthorpe. The church in the village and then a marquee set up in a farmer’s field opposite the house where Sarah was brought up. Very idyllic. The only thing that would spoil the day would be the weather. We would have to wait and see and keep our fingers crossed. The pre wedding shoot was fun, setting up scenarios, and basically settling Sarah and Mark in front of the camera. Here are some of the shots that were taken.

Their wedding took place on the 10th July. What a fantastic day. The sun was out and the weather and temperature was perfect for a marquee wedding. One memory that will always stick in my mind was walking through the village with the bride, bridesmaids and bride’s parents. The whole village came out to see them as they walked from the house to the church. Absolutely superb.
Lovely words from Sarah and Mark:
“Thank you so much for being our wedding photographers. You have provided us with such amazing photographs which will always make us smile and remember our wedding day as being as perfect as it truly was. During the initial appointment for the practice shots we could see Cathy’s imagination and initiative to find new and exciting places around the village to take our pictures. On the wedding day this increased, with us having photographs in the corn field, my parents garden, my bedroom window and through the village - all places that meant so much to us, especially me, and are lovely to look back. Throughout, Cathy and Brian have been so professional, organised, informative, imaginative and unobtrusive during the wedding day. Yet they have created the most amazing photographs which capture everything that was so special about our day. Thank you very much.”

… and then … everyone walked back from the church, through the village to the marquee.
